DIVINE MERCY SHRINE.

The family has decided to visit the Divine Mercy Shrine during the Good Friday. We traveled from Cagayan de Oro City to El Salvador, Misamis Oriental.

Upon arrival, there were many devotees lining up to get a saya but there were a few not wearing one. We religiously stopped in every station (of the cross) and prayed together with the other devotees all the way to the top where the last was located. The area is so spacious!

This tall beauty was simply breath-taking. Some say that at a certain time of the day the people in charged with the place would open those ray-like structures to the public so that the latter can hike their way up to the top. Unfortunately, we didn't stay that long.

The long trip made our family hungry so we ended up in a restaurant called Panagatan. The place was very relaxing. The food was really delicious at a reasonable price. Our tummies were beyond happy. ^^,

I loved the sea breeze until I was so cold. Hah! My cousin, A, took this picture of me. I may be thinking far away from where I am.

The holy week this year has been great. I find spending time with the family with our beliefs healthy. As the saying goes, the family that prays together stays together. I am hoping that is true. I believe that there is no one else in this planet who could whole heartily accept me and my imperfections other than my family and anyone who loves me as much or more than they do.

At the end of the day, I feel blessed. :-)
